Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, a founding member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has criticized President Akufo-Addo’s administration, labeling it as the most corrupt regime in Ghana’s history.

“We promised the people of this country that we shall put a stop to it. He’s been now the worst in the history of this country,” he stated.
Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe emphasized that President Akufo-Addo has “failed totally in the fight against corruption.”
During the interview, he also commented on the prospects of NPP flagbearer and Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia’s future within the party. Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe suggested that Dr. Bawumia may not have secured the flagbearer position without financial support from President Akufo-Addo.
“But for the backing of Akufo-Addo with money, Bawumia couldn’t have won the position,” he asserted.
Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe expressed skepticism about Dr. Bawumia’s popularity within the party, suggesting that he may face challenges due to being “in the wrong terrain” and lacking the support of the majority of party members.
