The leader of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has called upon the Minority in Parliament to oppose any efforts by the government to exacerbate the difficulties faced by Ghanaians before the December elections.
Mahama emphasizes that the Minority is the primary force capable of thwarting the government’s imposition of hardship and harsh policies on the Ghanaian populace.
Speaking to Minority MPs in Ho, located in the Volta Region, John Mahama emphasized the necessity to halt the government’s infliction of suffering on Ghanaians.
“It’s crucial for you to be back at this moment, giving you the chance to maintain heightened vigilance and oversight over a government that seems increasingly desperate and keen on imposing severe policies on Ghanaians.”
“Based on what we’ve observed thus far, I believe I echo the sentiments of most Ghanaians when I say that the Minority has met expectations.”
