Alan Kyerematen Warns Against Attacks on Supporters

Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, a flagbearer hopeful for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has issued a stern warning against attacks on his supporters in the future.

He expressed his concern and disappointment over an attack on his polling agent during the NPP’s Super Delegates’ Conference. The incident involved his polling agent being injured in the eye during the event.

Kyerematen, who placed third in the elections, visited the injured polling agent at the hospital and condemned the attack. He described it as an act of “total indiscipline” and emphasized that such behavior is not in line with the values of the NPP.

He expressed his commitment to ensuring a peaceful and organized selection process for the party’s leadership.

Kyerematen warned that such behavior will not be tolerated in the future and questioned how the party intends to manage a larger gathering of over 200,000 people for the upcoming Presidential Primary if such incidents persist.

He stressed the importance of maintaining a peaceful and respectful atmosphere within the party.

The NPP’s Elections Committee had met with Kyerematen over the incident, and he had previously issued a statement expressing his concern.

He criticized the incident for tarnishing the image of the NPP and called for disciplinary measures to be taken against those involved in the attack.
