A woman who stabbed her common-law husband, then skinned and decapitated him before cooking him for his children’s meal has been jailed for life in Australia, it was reported.
Katherine Knight, 45, had admitted stabbing her partner John Price 37 times after she was to be thrown out of his house.
She had then cut off his head and skinned his body, hanging it from a meat hook in the lounge , put his head in a cooking pot, baked flesh sliced meat from his buttocks and prepared vegetables.
The gruesome meal was then left for for the son and daughter of the deceased, accompanied by vindictive notes, New South Wales judge Barry O’Keefe said.
Knight was a “very dangerous person” likely to commit further violence or murder if released into the community, said the judge.
He added: “Parole should never be considered for her the prisoner should never be released.”He said the crime scene, in Newcastle, was so horrendous police attending had to take stress leave.
