The Electoral Commission (EC) has scheduled an Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting as part of preparations for the upcoming Ayawaso East by-election.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!In a notice dated February 6, 2026, and addressed to the General Secretaries of registered political parties, the Commission said the meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at its corporate head office in Accra.
According to the EC, discussions at the meeting will focus solely on arrangements for the conduct and organisation of the Ayawaso East by-election.
Political parties have been directed to limit their participation to two representatives each.
The notice was signed by Dr. Bossman Eric Asare, Deputy Chairperson of the Commission in charge of Corporate Services, on behalf of the EC Chairperson.
