
According to information obtained by XTRANEWSPAGE , gospel musician Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, also referred to as KODA, has departed from this life.
Nii Okai, a gospel musician and KODA friend verified the information with XTRANEWS PAGE.
“On Sunday, April 21, 2024, in the wee hours of the morning, KODA departed into glory.
As we all come to terms with the news of his transition, let us pray for the family,” he added.
He did not provide any further information regarding the cause of his death, however unofficial reports claim that he passed away from a disease he was fighting.
His wife and three kids were left behind by the 46-year-old man.
Ghanaian gospel singer, songwriter, music producer, and multi-instrumentalist Kofi Owusu Dua Anto (KODA) was a resident of Takoradi in the country’s western region.
Celebrated as one of the key sounds of Ghana’s significant modern gospel music, multiple award-winning singer KODA was committed to spreading the gospel and using music production to influence other artists’ sounds and directions.
In addition to the late Danny Nettey, Ps. Joe Beechem, Nii Okai, Halal Afrika, Eugene Zuta, and others, he created music for them.

Three studio albums, two live albums, and two instrumental/jazz albums make up KODA’s discography.
It was his sixth vocal album, “Keteke.”
His well-known gospel compositions include “Nsem Pii,” “Adooso,” “Nkwaa Abodo,” and “Hossana.”
“Poma Dadaa,” “Amen,” and “Zion Song” are few others.
