The role of chiefs in national development cannot be overstated – Mahama

Former President John Dramani Mahama, the Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), visited Obomenghene Nana Effah Opinamang III, along with his queen mothers and elders, as part of his Easter celebrations in the Kwahu area.

Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to him during his visit, Mr. Mahama emphasized the significant role of chiefs in national development. He noted that chiefs serve as custodians of tradition, culture, and values, and play a crucial role in promoting social cohesion and unity within their communities.
