Telecommunications company Telecel has been unveiled as the official headline sponsor for this year’s Ghana Music Awards, marking a significant transition from the previous sponsor, Vodafone.
As a result, the awards ceremony will now be known as the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
The announcement was made during the launch event for the 25th edition of the Ghana Music Awards, held on Thursday, March 28 at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre.

During the launch event, nominees for the various categories of the awards were also unveiled, signaling a major milestone in the preparations for the main awards ceremony scheduled for June 1, 2024.
The Ghana Music Awards is commemorating its 25th anniversary, highlighting its longstanding contribution to the music industry in Ghana. This year’s edition promises to be a celebration of the rich musical talent and achievements within the country’s vibrant music scene.
