The NPP has granted an extension for proxy application submissions in the upcoming presidential electoral college elections. The deadline has been extended to Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 10:00 am. The decision was made in response to concerns raised by prospective applicants. The Presidential Elections Committee hopes that this extension will provide ample time for prospective applicants to comply with the requirements. To qualify for proxy voting, an applicant must demonstrate proof of absence or inability to vote in person. William Yamoah, the secretary of the presidential committee of NPP, emphasized these guidelines for clarity.
