FATHER RAPES DAUGHTER TO DEATH IN NIGERIA -

An Ikeja Magistriate Court in Ogba, Lagos State, remanded a 36-year-old man named Rowland Okajere to the Kirikiri Correlational Center for allegedly raping his 18-year-old daughter inside his shop in Ikotun. Mr.L.A Owolabi, the magistrate, issued the order following the defendant's Monday arraignment on a rape case filed by the police against him. Xtranewspage The police prosecutor, Inspector Esther Igbineweka, informed the court that the defendant committed the crime on January 4, 2023. According to the inspector, the offense committed is criminal under Section 260 of the Lagos State Criminal Code from 2015. According to Owolabi, the prisoner would be held without bail for 30 days until the Director of Public Prosecutions ruled.
